Mauritius Arya Ravi Ved Pracharini Sabha caters for the propagation of Vedic Philosophy. It works in conjunction with other sister organizations with a view to keep a social balance by maintaining peace and harmony in the country.

• It organizes/celebrates vedic festivals such as Makar Sankranti, Vasant Panchammi, Rishi Bodh, Dayanand Jayanti, Holak Utsaw (Holi), Arya Samaj Sthapna Diwas, Naw Samvatsar/Ugadi (Aryan New Year), Shrawani Upakarma Mahotsaw, Rishi Nirvan Diwas/Deepavali, Shradhanand Balidan Diwas. As a social partner of the Government, the Sabha aligns with the policy decisions of the same.
• It communicates/disseminates information to its members pertaining to the Govt. policy decisions to enable the Govt. to help achieve its objects.
• The Sabha expresses its opinions on sensible issues and submits memorandum to the Govt. as and when required.
• The Women’s Wing under the guidance of female priests (Punditas) plays an important role in the society. All the female associations work in conjunction with the Ministry of Women’s Rights.
• It works in conjunction with other sister organizations with a view to keep a social balance by maintaining peace and harmony in the country. It follows closely the policy decisions of the Govt. It communicates / disseminates information pertaining to Govt. policies to its members.

The MARVPS was set up with the following objectives:

• To promote the Social, Intellectual, Physical, Moral, Cultural and Economical Welfare of the members.
• To establish and maintain schools, charitable and philanthropic institutions.
• To establish and maintain Vedic Temples.
• To organize meetings and hold lectures on historical/religious/philosophical subjects.
• To encourage art (Painting, Music) and Scouts.
• To help and to grant Financial assistance to promising students.
• To maintain a Scholarship Fund.
• To promote a scheme for Funeral Grants to deceased members.
• To run a Priest’s Training Institution to train priests conducting courses leading to a recognized Certificate/Diploma degree in Arya Samajist Priesthood.
